Natural Killer Cell Didactic
This illustration was created with the intention of it being within a journal article. Its goal is to teach the reader how a natural killer cell, within the blood, recognizes potential threatening cells and destroys them. I included a background environment for the natural killer cell, to definitively place them in the blood and interest the viewer.
Here is an example of my illustration integrated into a sample journal article page. The intended use of this illustration was for a journal article where its size would span two columns in width. It could also be implemented into a textbook with a similar format.
